I'll pick up the HTC EVO 4G or Samsung Epic 4G when both of them become available.

I have the 3GS iPhone, and I recently upgraded the software to 4.0 OS. Pretty cool features. I REALLY like that you run other apps with Pandora playing, and being able to create folders for apps definitely cuts down on clutter. And of course you can now have your apps sitting on top of your background pictures.

I LOVE the camera/camcorder functionality of the new 4G. Apparently Apple got some guys from Canon to come design it.

I hear the 4GS comes out around Christmas time, which is right when I'm eligible for an upgrade. So I'll wait until then.

Eh. I've played with the droid. It's nice, but not all that. And the stock camera with the droid isn't anything close to what the iPhone 4G brings. Droid is a nice phone, especially the 2nd generation that recently came out. But I'd still prefer the functionality of the iPhone. Mac just does it better. And I say that as I type this post from a PC.

Wow thats ridiculous that you cant do that on the older generation iphones. I had heard that you cant run multiple apps at the same time, but I guess I thought you couldn’t check email while leaving a browser open. Not listening to music while doing other stuff is just wrong. Can you play your music stored off of the drive at the same time while running a application? And not having folders is absolutely ridiculous too. And before you also couldn’t move applications on top of your background? I will say that of the iphones ive looked at they do come across as smoother when moving from point to point.

So on the moto droid you have 3 background selections, one to the left, one in the middle, and one to the right and you only see one at a time. I keep all my news app on the left, just basic phone stuff in the middle (to keep the normal view real simple and uncluttered), and all my media stuff on the right. I hate that its not revolving, I really wish that I could go from the right screen to the left instead of having to go back to the middle then to the right.

The other thing im not crazy about is youtube. On the droid you cant get a lot youtube videos that you normally can on your computer. Im not really sure whats the deal behind this and never really looked into it. Im thinking some flash stuff?

Free navigation is awesome. Running Pandora, trapster, and navigation all at the same time is the only way to drive on the highways. I don’t have a house phone or anything so Verizon is a must have for me. The other must have is a legit keyboard. I know you get good with a touch screen after a while and im good with a touch screen, but having a real keyboard is absolute in my book. Every try and send a text on a touch screen when its hot outside and have condensation on your fingers from the cold beer(s) you were holding? It’s a bitch. I will say that the droid’s keyboard takes some getting used to, but the moto droid 2 coming out is apparently much easier. And the speaker on the driod is badass, sometimes you don’t have a stereo but you still need tunes.

Also apple itunes format is a scam in my book. I don’t think there stuff is DRM anymore (??), but anyone who has ever purchased a drm format itunes over a mp3 when both options were available for the same price went full retard in my book. My thought is a good company wouldn’t have done that in the first plane. A la google’s Don’t Be Evil.
