Most likely his knee is flaring up due to the fact its not ready to run all those yrds. He should have been doing more running so his knees would be prepared for these shuttles.
well being an effective NFL line men means you need endurance. so he should be training for both.

I agree 100% with this. Also he could have screwed his knee up on that first run that would explian why he needed the ten minute and why he walked on the last run(just theory).

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test

He's had some knee issues in the past, not sure about any surgeries though. Could just be something flaring up from the past. He missed some time in camp last summer with a knee problem.

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test

If I remember correctly he has to get some sort of fluid injected into his knee every offseason. I haven't heard anything about it this offseason though.

Fluid injected in, or removed?

I've had the latter done about a dozen times...giant needle, hurts like hell.

In his case I believe it was injected. I get fluid removed also.

I think Fat Al is pushing back now. I do think his knee is a little sore, but I think he's fed up with the Shanahanigans.

I don't think he minds missing some practice.

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test

Apparently Darnell Dockett just tweeted making fun of Al and saying he has to take a piss. Funny.

Dockett has been hammering AH about this all offseason. He even put a note saying next year he was available. Been pretty funny.

This is the same Darnell Dockett that was bitching about his contract not too long ago. Don't care much for him and he's been taking swipes at the entire team as well in the past. So screw him.

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test

Funny but it's bordering on obsessive.
