Now I wait for someone to make a joke about Tebow using his rib to make a wife

He tried that once and he didn't like her so he took his rib back. It got his hands a little dirty but he was pleased with the annulment.

Re: Notable Injuries Around the League

Percy Harvin collapsed during Thursday's practice and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Coach Brad Childress said that Harvin had an "episode" and not really a "seizure." It was apparently triggered when Harvin looked at the sky on a punt return and is almost certainly related to his migraine woes. Harvin was trembling and partially responsive as medical personnel got him off the field.

Sounds like he has some serious neurologic issues. And it says he's been to "expert after expert". As electrifying as he is on the field, this may cripple his career and I'm sorry to see that. Hope he gets better.

We posted the same time in the same thread.

Your post wasn't there before.

Harvin is a force on the field...special teams too. Big loss if they lose him, he was probably going to be the main guy this season. Favre loved Sidney Rice, but he's having health issues too.

Mike Furrey says he's out for the year | ProFootballTalk.com

It looks like we are down to 10 WR's now.

He was going to be out for the year regardless of his health.

Man, as if the Bills didn't have enough problems, one of their best defensive player goes down. We may very well have another 0-16 team.

Groin surgery for the third time this year? That sounds pretty unpleasant.

I noticed the other day that the Broncos right now plan on going into the season with D'Anthony Batiste as their starting LT...let that sink in for a minute

D'Anthony Batiste! A guy who represents all that had been wrong with our lack of focus on the OL in recent years...and now he's expected to start in place of Ryan Clady, arguably the best LT in the game...Broncos are screwed

You've got to be kidding. Good luck, Broncos.

I'm so glad we snapped up Jammal Brown, rather than letting him go to Denver.

Or the Giants, who just picked up a tackle...or Dallas who is probably desperate now.

That is going to be ugly for the Broncos. Do they really believe that a backup on one of the worst lines in the NFL last year is really going to be able to contribute to thier team in a positive way.

Josh McDaniels is more blind than Jim Zorn. I can't believe I said that. I'm utterly shocked. No, seriously shocked. Batiste is a utterly shitty LT. Godawful. False starts. Holding. Total whiffs. Replaced by Levi Jones mideseason and cut.

Re: Notable Injuries Around the League

They're a mess already, Tebow is their best shot at anything this year from the QB position. Orton has proven to be average at best, Quinn is just horrible. They're racking up injuries at RB and no longer have Shanahan's plug-and-play RB system. Dumervil is gone. Clady is gone. They lost Marshall with no comparable replacement.

KC and Oakland improved. They're going 4-12 if they're lucky.

Champ Bailey and Brian Dawkins are their best names...but aging.
