They were desperate to pickup a quick CB since they lost once for the season with an ACL tear. Not sure why we would want Beck though. Gus Frerotte would make a way better #3 QB than him!!!!!!!

They have Marc Bulger and Troy Smith. Bulger gives them experience Smith gives them a different type of QB. Therefore Beck is expendable. Not saying that Beck is a world beater but just because the Ravens were willing to trade him doesn't make him a dud.
