The New York Post reports that Plaxico Burress is expected to be released from prison within "two or three weeks" for good behavior.
The Post cites a "person who has visited Burress at the Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome," so we'd take the report with a grain of salt. He's expected to join a work release program upon leaving prison. Good for Plax. I hope he gets out and learned his lesson. Now the Giants do not have a deep wr corps. They've got some guys that they've invested high draft picks...Manningham and Nicks but neither has done anything. Also what has Sinorace Moss done in the 4 years he's been there? Nothing. I guess their most productive guy is Smith, good wr but not a true #1. If I were NY I would look into this and see if he's got anything in the tank.
