Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

@RickMaese-Haynesworth officially passes conditioning test.

Now that Haynesworth's one week suspension, boycott, whatever you want to call it has passed it's time to focus on FOOTBALL! Reports are emerging that he is liking the defense now and is looking forward to making an impact this season. Hopefully whatever drives him (ego, pride, etc) will make him return to his high levels of performance he is capable of.

Found this intresting comment on RI:

"Relationship wise...

Gregg Williams-Sean Taylor
Jim Haslett-Albert Haynesworth"

Maybe it's a stretch but I'm hoping that there ends up being some truth to it.

Yeah! I saw that too. The difference in the comparison, Taylor was not paid the $21 mil like AH. This whole thing with AH is about "money" moreso than anything else. Otherwise, the comparison is very simular.

Re: Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

I am happy to see that he passed. The media doesn't understand football and Haynesworth's ego had to be broken. He had to realize it's about "we," not "me" and that it's the head coaches way or no way. This is how you make a player run through a wall for you. Be there for him, but provide the proper discapline to be the best, no compramizes.

Re: Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

This could be a monster year for him, if he stays healthy. He's probably in the best shape of his life, having lost 35lbs. and now that he has stamina (thanks to all the cardio he's been doing). He could finally be the next Reggie White like some folks have predicted.

Re: Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

I'll bet he was perfectly capable of passing it a few days ago, but his knee effed him up good. I never done athletics, so I don't know what experience the swelling and stuff would cause. I doubt a week of treadmill work would suddenly make him be in "football shape" though.

Neither a suspension or boycott are likely accurate descriptions of what is going on. Seriously, beyond the tweets and Redskins Insider, there's nothing that we know that went on between them.

Re: Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

So I'm still in bed this morning and my phone starts ringing off the hook. I'm thinking who could this be? It was a buddy who's been going to camp. I was like, shit, did a plane drop out of the sky or something?

I pick up, he goes guess what? Silence....then I go what happened, someone tore their ACL? He goes, Fat Al passed his conditioning test!

Have people lost their ever loving mind over this sh*t!?

Re: Haynesworth PASSES Conditioning Test

Man somehow don't you feel that someone in the organization said to Al, I don't care about the first week, but d*** you better be practicing by Fan Appreciation Day! I love seeing conspiracies everywhere

Regardless, I am glad that the team is together, with a week of practice before the first preseason game. And I think all the teammates can feel that it was handled professionally, and not cause much stir in the locker room.
