Re: Report: Redskins are pursuing Vincent Jackson
We have to stop being scared of breaking tradition. Just because our best 3 receivers are two tight ends and a receiver instead of two receivers and a tight end doesn't mean we can't be successful. I mean think about it, everyone is scared of Joey Galloway being the number 2 receiver when in reality he's looking at being the number 4 passing option. The Chargers last year had a Tight End as their number one receiver. And do I need to bring up the Dick Vermil lead Chiefs again and how their offense was structured.
Look at the facts. - We have with the help of a miracle pretty much fixed the O-Line in one offseason. - We have a brilliant offensive braintrust - We have a franchise QB - We have three legitimate passing options. The only question mark is the running backs and I'm pretty sure we won't have to worry about them.
