I think anyone on this site would rather have AH starting over Golston. But not at the expense of all this bullshit. Malcontent little children who collect money on their word to work hard and then stomp their feet when everything doesn't go the exact way they want should't be rewarded.

And another thing, he was bitching about being out there in the 3rd quarter. I thought that he was so dominant that he should have just blasted through the second and third team opposition. Your so called top D lineman in the NFL got handeled, punked, and bitch slapped by a bunch of guys who might not even start or make the squad. Later on they are going to go home and have their way with his alleged baby's momma.

Lol. What game were you watching? Btw, when your NT is getting at least a double team on every play and is still moving towards the QB, that is typically a good thing.

It shouldn't matter he is superman or the 100 million dollar man or whatever. BTW I am going to put you in the same boat as poster Gus Frerote. Apparently we see 2 different things when watch the same game. AH was not trying and was getting punked. I have the game recorded. I will even brush off my couch and have my wife serve you hors devours as you watch this game in its entirety. If when the game is over and you still feel the same way I will offer up my children as your personal servants. AH is a lazy ass underachieving punk. Even when he tried to make a play he got handled.

For the 5000th time his deal is 4 for 48 but the biggest litmus test out there is when someone calls him the 100 million dollar man. Stephen Davis signed a "100 Million dollar" deal too. You think he collected it?

It is easy to be jealous of Al and get pissed off at him for speaking his mind but the FRONT OFFICE is who empowered him. At the end of the day no matter what you say and no matter what he says he is the best defensive lineman on the team. If you can't see that, I really don't want to see what your wife looks like.

Hey I just realized that we're going to be on Hard Knocks in two weeks....or are we? Does the show end when training camp ends?

At the time he was signed he was the highest paid defensive player in the league. Argue with that one smartass! Does his play represent that? I can name rookies outperforming him this year and last. Maybe not on this team but then again he really hasn't done shit for this team...talent or not.

You are questioning my wife's looks based on my judgement? I wish you would comment just to proove how blind you really are.

Me and Pocket in the same boat huh? Not bad company!! And for the record, I bullshit at least 50% of the time, meaning I just shoot from the hip. No fun just agreeing with everyone all the time. I still think bringing in Gus as #3 QB wasn't as crazy as you guys think it was, no BSing there. Whether AH is a crazy, underachieving punk or not, he is our lazy ass underachieving punk til his contract is up. Thank Cerrato and co for his dumbass contract. No DT or DE is worth $100 million.

All of us like to play Devil's Advocate from time to time. It seems as though you have that position on permanent lockdown. Honestly, whether you are bullshitting or shooting from the hip or whatever, the stuff that comes out of yor fingers is just mindblowingly retarded.

Yes. Nose tackles typically DO NOT show up on the stat sheet. If he gets 25 tackles and 2 sacks this year, it won't mean he's been ineffective. An impact NT will help others get the stats and stops. It's tough to gauge a NT's talent looking at stats.

Your exactly right, just absolutly sux. If his attitude would change from being the biggest asshole alive, we could probabley be a top 5 deffense. As long as his attitude sux, it will hold us back. Im glad Bruce finally has the reigns on this team and Vinny and dumb ass Danny Boy has taken a back seat so in the future we wont have pricks like this take the field. HTTR

Re: Redskins vs. Ravens, Pre-Season Game 2, Gameday Thread

On a side note the one thing I hate about these Baltimore-DC games is I feel like I have to choose a city. I grew up in the DMV area when the teams were the Washington Bullets, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Baltimore Orioles. We never had to choose. I love both cities and feel weird having to claim one, almost like I'm part of a gang. Ironically if two teams hadn't moved my teams today would probably be the Bullets, Caps, Senators, and Colts.

I personally always hope the Ravens and Nats do well except when they play the Skins and Orioles. Is anyone else the same way or am I insane?

By the way, if you live in New York how do you choose to root for the Jets or Giants? I can understand the Yankees and Mets since their stadiums are separate and if all else fails you can just choose the team closer to your borough, but obviously the Giants and Jets share a stadium.

I'm the same way. I really like some players on the Ravens. Michael Oher, Anquan Boldin, Ray Rice, Troy Smith, Ed Reed, Tom Zbikowski to name a few. Plus I like Harbaugh as a head coach. I've got no beef with the Ravens. And I grew up an O's fan, but I was born in DC. Unless the Nats are playing the O's, I'm all for them.

That said, I hope Strasburg's arm is ok.
