What do you drive?

I'm driving a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. The V8 sucks on gas, but I'm getting 13-15/gallon on mixed (mostly city) driving. Comfortably fits the family (wife and 2 kids) and has the 3rd row seat, so we can get 6 adults (7 if some are smaller) fairly comfortably. We have 112k on it, and haven't had any major issues with it.

My wife drives a 2001 Honda Civic with close to 170k miles on it. It's a 4 banger, so we get 30-35/gallon easily. No major issues with it either.

Hoping to drive both vehicles into the ground and replace the Civic with a larger sedan and the truck will eventually be replaced with a Soccer-Mom-Fetcher, as that is what my wife wants.
