If he does, they are the most complete team. If not, the Redskins, Giants, and if they have an elite defense, Dallas could have an impact.

Dallas also gets a lot more dangerous if they replace Roy Williams with Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, or Kevin Ogletree. A lot of wasted offensive drives can be credited to Romo handling a blitz properly, but Williams being completely clueless.
I just don't see how you can come up with anything on the NFC East , this preseason all the teams have not done very well ,McNabb has sat out ,Eli has missed work and Romo and Kolb have played bad so far,so this could ba a good thing or a bad thing.

Re: 2010 NFL Preseason

I think its hard to really get a read on Preseason because each HC/OC/DC look for different things. Some will scheme while others will not, only wanting to see what they have in each player first.

I get the feeling from watching Washington this year so far that the Shannahans are much more worried about seeing what they have in each player and are gauging each based on how well they grow given the playbook as their guide. I don't feel they are in a panic mode because of McNabb's foot problem thus will use the 4th game to see what progress is made by the last two QB's on the roster and if it makes sense to keep one of them on the 53 or just bury Bartel on the PS. He is eligible is he not? Its up to Beck to make his case for them to keep him or let him go cause he isn't avalable for the PS.

Some have said here that Shannahan normally keeps just two QB's and while that might normally be true, with McNabb's injury history and Rex's inconsistancy I would think it wise to hold on to one other just to have a back up plan that includes someone who knows the playbook.

As for Dallas I really feel that Romo has progressed as far as he can and I see no fire in his belly. Where is he on the sidelines calling out his fellow players, where is his leadership, I see none of that with Romo. I'm not saying that hes a bad QB but just not a great leader and thats why I give this redskins team a real chance against the Boys.

In point of fact I'm betting this division will be a race between you guys and the Giants with both the Boys and Philly on the outs looking in.
