Tedy Bruschi Suffers Stroke

I didn't feel like starting a new thread about this, but I can't imagine what he and his family are going through right now after dealing with him having a stroke within a week of the superbowl and now having to have a hole in his heart repaired. He has been a huge force behind the energy and spirit of the Pat's defense but I honestly can't see him playing after all of this.

yeah, they've been talking about it a bit today on espn news, but finally had it confirmed a couple of hours ago. I think they were saying that he's scheduled to have the surgery in the next day or so. I'm guessing they caught it on a regular checkup after his stroke.

it looks like he's going to probably play this year after all. I hope he is back to a 100% and wish him well this year, except of course when the pats play the skins in the SB

nm, looks like the pats r gonna hold him out which isn't too bad of an idea
