Look, cutting and trading players isn't an exact science and every coach blows one here and there, but on the whole I'm 100% confident that our staff made the right roster decisions. I mean, did Justin Tryon really have a definitive edge over the players that we decided to keep this year? I didn't think so, unless you guys were watching a different Tryon. He was an average nickel guy, in my opinion. Again, my opinion. I think you can make an argument against Westbrook, but on the other hand he's been pretty solid on teams since the day he got here. And now that Rock is no longer here, we need a few guys flying to the ball on kick-offs and punts.

As Pain pointed out most of the guys we were whining about just five months ago aren't even in the NFL right now. Ladell Betts could do no wrong around here, but he couldn't even make the running back starved New Orleans Saints. Colt Brennen, lord have mercy! The list goes on and on.

I think the 53 we see today probably won't be the same 53 that suits up for Dallas; Terrence Austin included.
What you say just means we can't draft worth shit, or just have really bad luck with drafting. I can't see how anyone here could feel anything, but so so towards our roster. It doesn't suck, but those who are really happy with it, can't be serious. We cut Austin for the small ass speedster in Banks. Gutsy move, but what happens if Banks get nailed. He is shorter and weighs less than I do, and if a NFL CB nailed me full speed I would be in the hospital. Everyone here in last year's draft had it right about getting the 6'4" stud WR that could get the high ball, now we want undersized smurfs that are speedy. It might work, but then again it might be a disaster. In short, I think our roster is rather vanilla and lacking in depth with the exception of QB and RB.
