One loss doesn't make a break a season. There could be a game we're unexpected to win go our way...which is very possible looking at our killer schedule.

As a complete coincidence, neither of those games factored into the tiebreakers to make the playoffs that year.

We ended up not needing any tiebreakers, thanks to the Cowboys rolling over and playing dead for us in Week 17. And then never coming out of the fetal position.

Minnesota, Philly, and Arizona were all 8-8 that year. We beat all of them once each.
