We're not going to be able to adjust this offense to go underneath, get four consecutive first downs and eat the clock. We will be able to sustain offense when, and only when, we can pound the ball on the ground. But for what it's worth, our ability to scheme big plays appears to be largely independent of that ground success. I'm not sure that the inverse isn't true. Because of the great success we've had in getting wide open receivers down the field, I think running is going to be easier. Passing to set up the run if you will.
