Re: NFC East or Least?
The past is the past. We'll see how they fare. Luckily, I see some hurting knees on that D-line of theirs after we're through with them.

Re: NFC East or Least?
It would be interesting to see where we rank in the power rankings as well. Considering ESPN has the Pack ranked 3rd? Come on Baltimore, Steelers, Jets, Patriots, and Saints are all better than the Packers, and after Sunday the Redskins will have proved that they are.

Re: NFC East or Least?
We are leading the NFC East 2-0 which is great considering last season 0-6 but even as bad as the Giants are playing they have had our number people. We don't play them for a while but when we do we better kicked them in their Big Blue Ass. So sick of Eli and the Giants D-Line getting after us. I hope we destroy them like they did us at FedEx last year. It's to early to tell who will win the NFC East.

The NFC East is very wide open, none of the teams are very good.

Re: NFC East or Least?
The late Pete Rozelle had a design on parity as a tool to create fair competition, revenue, and most of all fan interest. Through the years since his passing the league has progressively become more balanced in terms of strength and weaknesses. As a result of that balance, the wide disparity that one time existed between teams is no longer prevalent. The recent lopsided years of the Lions, Rams, Dolphins and Chiefs being the exception.
There are 13 teams with a 2-2 record, far above what we've seen in the past. Absent a rash of injuries, improved play defensively and a little good fortune, I'm in agreement with those who think the Redskins have a chance at winning the east.

Re: NFC East or Least?
10 wins could definitely take the division the way things are going right now. I think we're going to see a real log jam at the end with nobody seperating much.

Re: NFC East or Least?
I wouldn't be surprised to see 9 wins take it. The out of division schedule is pretty tough all around, and the fact that the Cowboys and Eagles won't sweep us like last year knocks their prospects for 10 or more wins down a peg.

Re: NFC East or Least?
I love our situation as this point!
We don't play the Giants until week 13 & 17. We have a chance to sweep Philly before we even play the giants once and the cowboys for the 2nd game. (and the philly game is at home) So if we can take care of business in the NFC North starting this Sunday,I think this team has a great chance of taking the NFC East. Remember, wins against our own division also counts as Conference victories and you only play 12 Conference games total a year. So my theory is this...If we can win 4+Division games(already got +2) and win the majority of our homes games this year...(like Minny,Green Bay,Tampa) this team is in the Playoffs! ![]() This gives us Jacksonville,Tennessee,Bears,Lions on the road and Colts @ Home Win 2 of these games I have above and that's 9 wins...

Re: NFC East or Least?
As long as we take one game at a time and don't have anymore embarrassing lapses like we did against the Rams.
With Green Bay & Indianapolis up next...I'd just be happy to go 1-1 out of those two but I wont be holding my breath. Two real good teams
