Donovan must thinking this is deja vu all over again.
Hell, when is he going to hold his son accountable. He willingly throws McNabb under the bus, but makes no mention of the porous protection schemes? I hate to say that I had more confidence in the Bingo caller late last year than Boy Wonder.

The fact that Rex fumbled and had it taken to the house validates McNabb and makes Shanahan look like the dummy he is. If I were McNabb and he pulls that shit again I will be very upset and I certainly wouldn't sign with the Skins after the season is done.

Shanny better patch things up real soon, or Donovan is bye bye. Grossman isn't a starting QB.

IDK my man but it sounds like 5 won't be here next season. I was actually hoping otherwise, who knows maybe this changes this team around and we catch fire.

Doesn't matter who we bring in man, we have no line, or a good WR corp!!!!! We could bring Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers in here and either one of them would be ineffective. Shanny is being exposed for being an egomaniac or at the very least too akin to knee jerk decisions. I am really starting to believe we were yet again sold a bill of goods. Yet another "savior" HC pick that will turn us around. Thing is our linemen are not used to or built for his blocking schemes. He needs to figure out how to tinker with this or he is going to bolt like Spurrier. Shit, I would take Spurrier over Shanny anyday. He might have ruined Ramsey trying the Fun N Gun, but he didn't blame anyone or throw folks under the bus, when it didn't work out. I still root for Spurrier. The man has class, like Coach Gibbs.

We weren't good at keeping secrets about the 3-4, so even though it's PFT, I have to at least consider it plausible that Shanahan may not be satisfied with McNabb.

I'm convinced that both Shanahans are passive/agressive. If you have a problem with the way Donovan is practicing, then talk to him like a MAN about it. This is developing into a PR nightmare for the entire FO if the Shanahans don't work out their differences with McNabb and he ends up becoming the latest Redskins "rental" for picks.

Shanahan better watch out, a lot of the players were in love with McNabb and his leadership.

My moneys on John Beck being next years starter. He might be older then Grossman but he has more potential. Pus he doesn't fumble every 20 plays. The question is weather Beck becomes the next Schuab or Griese.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss

Hearing these things come from the mouths of not only the redskins, but now our own fans makes me wonder if most of the things that eagles' critics of McNabb said are true.

Mainly the super bowl vomiting, which I sort of remember, and the other things like his poor stamina, and poor conditioning. I agree with someone else on here who said it looks like McNabb is sucking wind alot.

I'm not bashing McNabb, but hearing our own coach say these things kind of puts it in light what the McNabb critics from philadelphia said years ago.

I never thought Andy Reid was a dumb man, he knew exactly what he was getting rid of when he traded McNabb, and it now looks like we got the same thing that Reid saw...

I have a new level of respect for Reid. I mean for God's sake the guy turned Vick into a pro bowl PASSER. On top of that he's got Kevin Kolb playing great as well. If Kolb is drafted by any of the other 31 teams in the league he's out of the league. With Reid he's a top 15 QB. Not to mention Jeff Garcia and AJ Feely have also had impressive runs under center for the Eagles in recent years. I'm not afraid to say it. Reid is by far the best QB coach in the league.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss

If McNabb practices like shit and is out of shape then keep it behind closed doors. Even though I think McNabb should be benched there is no reason to let this crap get out to the media. This isn't the first time McNabb has been called out for being out of shape. Remeber TO saying the same thing after McNabb puked during the game against NE?? lol.
