Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
McNabb wasn't the sole reason for the loss, but it is very concerning that he doesn't seem to possess the ability right now to lead us to a game-winning TD or game-tying FG (Indy game) when we need him to. Also, it's not a good sign that Matthew Stafford outplayed No. 5, even when you take into account our O-line's putrid performance. McNabb's killer INT and near-Pick 6 were plays I'd expect from a second-year guy coming off a major injury not McNabb. All this said, he is the starter without question.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
McNabb was on his ass for half the game and the other half he was inaccurate or throwing into triple coverage. I saw nothing wrong with giving Grossman a shot myself. The o-line's play was awful and McNabb's play during the first 58 minutes was less than inspiring to say the least. I saw nothing to make me think either would improve during the last 2 minutes. I'm not a big fan of Rex but he could have possibly given us a much needed spark that McNabb seemed incapable of providing.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
McNabb needs to go to the bench. He simply misses too many routine throws. And for the big plays that he hits there are 3-4 that should've been made but weren't. They need to put in Rex and let's see what he can do. After 8 weeks I've seen enough.

Didn't you make a comment last week that we didn't have anyone better?

I wonder if Dockery could play C or RG? I hate to see him being wasted on the bench.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
It's one game, the OL got straight up dominated by the DL of the lines, we couldn't stop a thing. Suh is an absolute monster and there are very few lines that could contain him all game and we matched him up with Rabach and Lichtensteiger, we weren't going to come out ahead.

Why do you all think Egirls finally dumped him. McNabb is not going to take us there. It's nice to have him on board but we need to develop our own young QB of the future. Otherwise we may end up with a SB quality team in the near future with no QB. Starting McNabb is Vinny type mentallity. We need to develop a young QB. IMO. |

You hit the nail on the head about needing to develop a young QB of our own (like Stafford). We need to draft a QB early in next year's draft and let McNabb mentor him.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
Donovan isn't getting benched for good. He had a rough day and Shanny put in Rex to try and start a spark. It obviously didn't work out. This team is still a work in progress and probably will be for another 2-3 seasons til the right pieces are put in place. That is why I am second guessing the acquisition of Donovan. He is obviously worthless(any Qb would be) with a crappy o line and the accompanying non existent ground game, so it sort of defeats the purpose of acquiring him in the first place. Those picks could have been spent on two linemen or a lineman and a WR, or even a decent LB or CB.

I hear what your saying about mcnabb's poor play but on the year i think he has done more good than harm, at least with him in there, there's hope of a comeback or positive play....we could trade for brady or p manning after all the reason their teams win isnt because of oline talent, or being comfortable in their offense...its because THEY CARRY THEIR TEAMS RIGHT????? this Mcnabb bashing is so old....maybe we should get Campbell back i'm sure he'd look good in pro bowl blue..... its obviously our qb (LMFAO) i think everyone needs to come to grips with the fact that no matter what happens with the star positions in football games are won or LOST in the trenches. at best Mcnabbs a tertiary problem ...kinda started ranting my bad..lol

Probably TW's worst game today, and our running game would have been better if we weren't down to our third stringer

The one person I will get on, though is Rabach. Get this guy out of town. Since 2007, he's been a huge weak link on this offensive line. He spent so much time in the Redskins backfield it made me sick. I really hope to have two new guards and a center in 2011.
