It is like buying a new car getting in it and noticing no windshield, "oh you want a windshield that be an extra $200."
Sears charges $65 to install the washer and dryer and after me and a budy installed them we decided the $65 was a good deal. The resaon for the power cord is they come in different designs. The one you linked would not fit the dryer we got and I just took the one off the old dryer anways. Here is the washer the wife had to have.
