Buying My First HD TV & Need Help

Seriously though a lot of these options on these newer washer and dryers are just gimmicks. My one buddy has to GE washer/dryer combo that talk to each other, The washer tells the dryer how heavy/wet the clothes are and the dryer is suppose to come up the optimal dry time. My buddy said it has never once got it right, he just manually sets the dryer to permanent press 90 minutes but hey it looks fancy right!

To me its just more shit to break but the wife wanted a new set of front load washer and dryer. I thought the ones we had were working just fine but I did not argue because she does not ask for much and really wanted these.

When a wife actually ASKS for a household or kitchen appliance, GET IT! You can't get away with giving one as a gift any other time!


I'm shopping for a 37"ish LCD or plasma now...it is a tough decision. A lot of options. I think I'm narrowed down to Samsung and Vizio, but the Toshibas seem to have great reviews and reliability.

Go for the Samsung if you think it is your best choice. I have a 42" Sammy 1080p HDTV and it's been great for years.
