I don't believe there was anybody else better for the coaching position that were interested in coaching the Redskins. By that, I would say hiring Shanahan was the best thing Snyder and Allen could have done for this team. The biggest problem is, this team somehow needs to find a way to reverse the mentality of free agency first, draft picks last. The teams needs to learn to build through the draft and look at the offensive and defensive lines FIRST! You can't build a great team without being solid in the trenches.
