Re: Brad Childress Fired
I just hope they don't decide to make more changes & start T. Jackson. I think d. hall et al will be ready to snag some Farve passes. Farve can keep us in this game!

Re: Brad Childress Fired
they could still make the playoffs at 9-7, and if the players buy into that, they could be dangerous.
Big question is if Frazier keeps Favre or not. I would lean towards Jackson getting the start, with a new HC.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
I think we have a good chance of winning this game. We need to stop Peterson before he gets going and have a good game protecting McNabb. If we can do that then we should be able to force a few TO's and win the game.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
So I wonder what will happen with Favre now? After the game he made mention he will be re-evaluating his situation. So will he say adio's? Which means we will face Tarvaris Jackson. Hopefully if Bret says good bye Jackson throws a lot of interceptions. But I could see the new HC trying to get a spark and using him similar to how the Eagles used Vick. Make him use his legs.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
It's hard to believe that team is the mess they've become. Considering many thought Chilly was long overdue, his firing really comes as no surprise. Don't know what that means for their engagement at Fed Ex on Sunday, just hope it dosen't serve as motivation.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
It seems where Favre goes so do the Vikings. I hope he continues to suck.

Just like we did last playoff run. Shutdown AP and we are good.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
Our worrying isn't going to change the outcome. Either we are going to show up or not.
Beyond this whole coaching mess, they have a huge DL and its going to be tough to block as well as we did last week. Tenn is really undersized at the line.

Re: Brad Childress Fired
This could def. be a tough game. All those reports we've heard about Vikings players quitting on the field, well you can bet now that Chilly's gone Frazier will have them motivated and ready to play. And Frazier has been a head coaching candidate for at least a couple years now, so you can bet that he won't take this lightly. Things just got a lot harder for us now.
