The thing is Marty wants to keep his job, he if drafts a QB and starts him then he is prolonging his life by saying he started a rookie QB to build with. If he traded teh pick for players he would be looking to build a team this year. Perhaps if you added Trotter and someone else you would fill more holes and it would look more attractive.
