I look back at Taylor clips frequently, because it brings me to a place where I knew that I was watching the evolution of the greatest safety ever. What struck me watching Taylor clips recently is that almost every one of his big highlight hits was led by a shoulder or forearm BELOW the helmet, which would have been clean by today's highly scrutinized standards. Some guys have to lead with the helmet to be intimidating. Getting hit by #21 scared the hell out of opposing WRs, because it was akin to getting hit by a car - where the entire body gets blown back. The Crayton and Brown hits are two prime examples of many such hits that Taylor had. I still imagine - how good would he be today at 27, just coming into his prime years?

Yes, I noticed that too.. Taylor has big advantage due to his unique size and speed.. It is hard to believe that he was still young and did not even hit the peak of prime years..
