Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
Naw, I think the Sheagles stuffing us a new one in the recordbooks was worse.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
lets say it like we usually do at this time every year. There is always next year......we will be better next year.......or cant wait till next year......the usual bs. There is no chance this team will beat the Giants, or any other team at this point. How can we let grandpa and his walker stroll for 8 yards to end the game?

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
4 things that killed this team today:
1-Lack of execution, dropped passes by Moss, Armstrong, Cooley killing drives. 2-Penalties during KO return, like I've been saying all season, fix this shit!! 3-Coaching, 13 rushing attempts for a whole game, unacceptable. 4-Stopping the run and play action, all season long this has been a problem.

Turning the 10th ranked defense in 2009 to the 32nd ranked defense in 2010 with essentially the same personelle..... Quality Stuff right there. But at least we are getting more turnovers, that help us win games... oh wait

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
And the Vikes win their first road game in over a year toooooooooo.....
I really thought we would win this game for many reasons. But there was just to many blown opportunities. Moss swatting that ball at our 10 was dumb. That return block penalty, damn. The play calling was extremely conservative. And like Quake said, where the heck was Williams??? Not asking for much this season but, I guess winning 2 strait is even to much to ask. Consistency, Consistency, Consistency. We need some of that. |

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
ithink it's a jinx whenever any team has an embarrassing streak going they play the redskins just in time to break it, didn't the Rams do something like that when they beat us to broke some crappy streak.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
Well, the week being Sean Taylor week also seems to lend itself to embarrassments, like Gibbs' consecutive timeouts.

Re: Vikings vs. Redskins Gameday Thread
Shanahan (s) weren't going to turn this around in one season. We're weird in that we'll beat good teams but lose to bad ones. All I can say is rebuilding year -- hopefully there are some good personnel decisions made over the offseason (Haslett gets fired, cough) and we come back better next year.
