Keiland Williams is not a starting runningback in the NFL (he didn't even start in college). We do not have the personel on the line or in the backfield to have a legitimate running attack. We certainly don't have the players to run on Minnesota.

I thought that folks here were convinced there was gold to be mined on the Skins' practice squad and all that was needed was for the coaching staff to take off their blinders and give those guys a chance.

Davis even tweeted that the team had "taken the handcuffs off the beast".

1. He's no beast.

2. If he had handcuffs on, he might not have dropped that pass in the 4th quarter that hit nim between his numbers.

There is a reason he was on the practice squad; we saw it on snday.

Am I supposed to be waving pom poms right now? We have virtually no chance of making the playoffs. We will be lucky to split against the Giants. If we make 8-8 it would be a tremendous accomplishment.

The Bears have two runningbacks who are head and shoulders ahead of anything we have.

Kevin Sheehan basically said that James Davis is a lot better than Williams. Davis was collecting shopping carts a few days ago.

There is a reason that guys like Marcus Mason, Keiland Williams and Rock Cartwright never get past emergency starter status.

You can do whatever you like.
But when you say that we can't run the ball against the Vikings my reply is 9 carries is not enough to know.

You're begging the point the Bears OL is suspect its worse then our OL.
But they actually tried to run the ball.
I'm not saying Keiland Williams and James Davis are on the same level as Forte/Chester Taylor but Williams has shown well in his limited appearances.
And Williams have shown that he can put his head down and churn out some tough yards not unlike Toby Gerhart.

If you want to write off our RBs because of game where they had 6 and 3 carries a piece your more then welcome

But, it just isn't logical.

Kevin Sheehan is a man with an opinion no different then you or me.
I would argue that i would give Sheehan a run for his money when it comes to football.

Watching Keiland all through college and the way he's played with the limited opportunities he's been given would tell me that he could be a productive member of this team. And if Kevin Sheehan said that about Davis>Williams then he's retarted.

The point is the pass rush was directed at McNabb. The Vikes were not worried about the running game, because a running game did not exist. So they were able to focus primarily on McNabb which also closed down the passing game. We were so one dimensional that any defensive coach with half a brain could figure out. Even a rookie HC.

I believe if we had more rush attempts, odds are, the way they were pass rushing, we would have broke at least a few off big. Or at worse, took some pressure off our QB.

Cant expect the guy to establish if he is being rotated every other play. Still not getting a fair shot IMO.
