Report: Caps trade for defenseman Scott Hannan

TSN's Bob McKenzie is reporting that the Capitals have made a trade with the Colorado Avalanche for veteran defenseman Scott Hannan.

Hannan, 31, is in the final year of a four-year, $18 million contract he signed in 2007. He spent seven seasons with San Jose before that.
