Are you serious? The Eagles or Giants could easily pick him up and he'd probably stay in line and be productive for those teams. The Giants made a play for him when he was a free agent. Can't just cut him loose.

I think sticking it to Mike Shanahan would be motivation enough for him to perform at a high level on a division rival. And a motivated AH is not something to scoff at.

Yeah I'm serious, the guy is a potential big problem in any locker room if things don't go his way. He's never stayed in line for anyone, even with the Titans he was an issue and a constant thorn in their side. This late in the season I'm not sure teams would be beating down his door and risk disrupting what they have going. Most likely a moot issue anyway, we're not going to give him what he wants.

You could take it further -- you could point out that while Haynesworth pins his dissatisfaction this year on the 3-4 defense, he claimed at about this time last year that he couldn't "survive another season" in the 4-3 that the team was running at the time; you could point out that his happy memories of Jim Schwartz essentially focus on him disregarding a defensive system that Schwartz was "so excited" about; you could point out that he's essentially asking for ten other defensive players and the entire coaching staff to change just to accomodate him -- but it's all just re-emphasizing the same point.

I really recommend reading the whole thing it's well written and, while very Front Office oriented, I think very well thought out.
