I think the premise is simple: "MY TEAM. MY WAY. MY GUYS".

Trade 'em Shanny for Champ Bailey and a second round pick.

I think this was long overdue. Bowlen gave Son of Hoody wayyyy too much power, and he basically took apart an offense that was pretty good and really didn't need much change.

Re: ESPN -- Broncos FIRE Josh McDaniels
Vinny did it to us, stay tuned to see if the Redskins can be saved by Shanahan.

Re: ESPN -- Broncos FIRE Josh McDaniels
Bill Walsh was a master GM along with being a master coach. Shanahan the GM pales in comparison to Walsh.

Re: ESPN -- Broncos FIRE Josh McDaniels
Bring him in as our TE coach to replace Embree. How ironic would that be? 2 ex Broncos coaches that were fired working together.

The big problem there was historically bad defense which, you know, was the problem when McDaniels got there. Easy to say now that he should have never fired Mike Nolan, but I have to imagine that a huge internal conflict caused that departure because that defense was terrible before Nolan got there and was terrible after he left. Kind of funny that what ultimately got McDaniels canned also got Shanahan canned two years before that.
