At this pace getting rid of old players and acquiring young ones, rebuilding the lines, getting a QB, WR's, a RB are #1 priority. Our current roster is in need of updating, it would be nice. Only problem is, you would need to get rid of Shanahan who is a WCO and that ain't happening and he is committed to the 3-4. We know how stubborn he is.

Yea but Kyle ran a high powered offense with houston when they threw it all over the field. I honestly think its time for the Skins to just focus mainly on offense. Our D will take time to get the players for a 3-4 but our main priority should be WR. I wouldn't mind 2 new starters at WR next season.

So we wind up with another Malcolm Kelly injury head case and another Devin Thomas premadonna? It would be like the Lions 2.0. Draft a WR every year for 17 years. Build the line, the position players will follow. Look to free agency for them, at least you know somewhat what you are getting as they have already produced in the NFL.

No one runs a pure version of the WCO anymore. Haven't seen that offense in years. Shanahan knows how to run an offense when he's got players. He just doesn't have the players here.

I would say the Eagles do.

Even they've gotten away from it. They're a down the field passing offense.

Air Coryell checklist

Elite/Very good QB(Warner, Trent Green, etc) - Ehhh, no.
Elite RB - Ehhhh, no
Trio of Elite WRs - Ehhh, no
Elite LT - yes
Elite everything else on the OL - Ehhhh, no.

And the pure WCO is dead. Everything is mixed now, no matter what the names are. Shanahan is incredibly aggressive and likes the deep ball just as any Coryell guy would like.
