(not saying Albert is right on this, but you have a really good front 4 with AH playing full time and being more aggressive, but instead you switch to something that we dont have the players for) I am glad AH is suspended, but leave it to us to screw up a player that was DOMINANT. Now you take a 2nd round and what ever other round pick for a Hall of Fame QB, and completely ruin this by benching him. To say this is McNabbs issue, or his fault is a complete joke. This organization has completely ignored the most important aspect of a winning football team for longer than a decade, THE OFFENSIVE LINE. I dont care who you have behind center in this organization, they would not be doing anything better than the previous QB's that have been here. Can we not see what is going on. Every QB that has been under Danny and Vinnys watch has failed miserably. Eventually you look at the common denominator in all this and its the front office in ability to draft quality offensive lineman. The RB and QB are only as good as the "fat guys" up front. (Smoot's words) We have to be the most ingnorant run organization in the NFL. Shanny lost quite a few players with the whole AH situation, now he is losing even more with the McNabb benching. I am sure he will be losing quite a few fans over this crap. It is absolutely ridiculous. The guy may not be having a probowl year, but look at what he is doing behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. 4K passing yards, most in his career, may have played in all 16 games for the 1st time in his career, have basically zero running game (except last week, but TB stopped it in the 2nd half)
it is crap!
Exactly, with no O line, it doesn't matter. Now what kills me is with the picks we gave up for McNabb we could have fixed our entire O line problem in one draft next year and been on our way to recovery.

There have been many times where he's had good protection and he's throwing late or into the ground. I haven't see DM throw anyone open this year. The wr's are always reaching back or jumping up high to catch balls. Don't have a problem with them benching him, it's how they handle it that pisses me off.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday

Something behind the scenes had to of happened, there is no way MS/BA would give up a 2nd round pick for a QB to play 13 games, yes Mcnabb hasn't played very good but it's far from his fault, he has Bo WRs, No Run game and a shaky at beat OL. Williams is a stud but everyone else is avg at best. I do t understand this team anymore, who cares what they do **** them as a whole organization!

Thank goodness we can jettison McNabb without paying him any more money -- man, losing a lot of faith in Shanahan

Adam Schefter, who knows Shanahan well, just said that "McNabb and Shanahan have not had a successful relationship this year, and I don't expect that relationship to continue next year."

McNabb and Jake Plummer can form a "QBs who hate Mike Shanahan's anal-retentive ass" club.

Good riddance McNabb. Really appreciate all 5 wins this year. Too bad it's not 5 years ago when you were a decent QB.

I don't like this move.

But.

If this is a lost season, and obviously it is. We might as well see what everyone brings to the table in live games. That said, Rabach ought not start either.

I am a Skins fan, but they sure make it hard to be.

Don't worry about this qb move remember it's a business. I guess Philly got thhe better of the trade with a 2nd possible 3rd or 4th pick this season. Oh wait Philly gets a 3rd rd pick if McNabb meets a clause in the trade, could that be 1 reason we sit Mcnabb so Philly gets the 4th rd pick. The Saints would get our 3rd pick if Philly gets the 4th. Either way if McNabb does not come back next season what a waste of draft picks. Should have just sucked it up with JC 1 more year. Keep the faith it has to get better HTTR
