The funniest thing that I recall hearing before Shanahan was hired, was how during his year off (after getting fired) how he studied offenses, how he spent time with Haslett talking about developing an innovative defense like no other, etc. Sounded like they were going to win a Nobel price for coaching in football. My question is: Where the hell is that defense and offense?
