Mathieu Perreault scored twice and Eric Fehr added a goal and an assist to help Washington collect its first victory since Dec. 1. Coach Bruce Boudreau, who is no doubt breathing a sigh of relief tonight, chest-bumped his assistants in celebration as the Caps left the ice.
