The Anthony Armstrong conundrum is that if Vinny was still here working for Shanahan, there's absolutely no way we wouldn't have traded for Vincent Jackson to block Armstrong.

I still want Jackson here next year, but I want him here instead of Moss, not Armstrong. That's two vertical receivers, allowing us to go get pretty much anyone to play the slot. Or, you know, one of those tight ends we keep hearing about.
