Sure Luck looks like the QB of the decade. But what if he's not? What if he is only average, or a bust? Then you've set the team back years as we will have zero good draft picks and nothing to show for it going forward. This is the oldest team in the NFL. You are right it is time to cut the payroll and start over. But the way to do that is through the draft. You can't trade all your high picks like you are having a fire sale and then sit there and say AND we have to cut payroll and start over. Can't have your cake and eat it too. Impossible. Your position is like Communism. Great in theory, a terrible disaster in real world application.

totally agree if he is there when we pick then i dont have a problem picking him, but not giving up so much to get a guy who could be a bust.
