Tell me why it's not as impressive... Wooden's streak is legendary, but it's not like the parity in men's hoops was as close as it is now during his run. And it's not like UCONN women are playing sisters of the poor every week. They've survived the tourney a few times, where they could have tripped up easily to good teams. Tennessee, Stanford and recently Baylor are all squads that match up well- yet the Huskies took care of business.

This kind of streak would be impressive if it was even a middle school squad, much less a D1 team. Not to mention the turnover UConn's had during this streak. Even if there's a huge talent gap over everyone else, sports has taught us how difficult it is to remain unbeaten for just one season.

The only way you don't think it's gangsta is if you're ignorant about women's college hoops (or just sexist).

I love sports period. Also, I said its impressive just not as impressive mainly because there is no competition.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Hoops Honeys: The 20 Hottest NCAA Women's Basketball Players | Complex Blog

Uconn got the number 1 pick in the Hoops Honeys top 20 hottest ncaa female bball "players". I was happy to see Lady Ram Jenny Lane also made the list at number 8 and shes actually one of my faviorts. I had a class at VCU with 2 female basketball players and they always tried to get me to go to their games.... it got to the point where it was just plain akward. I feel bad for them because what non-family member wants to spend their time watching female basketball?

Also remember Downtown Ayla Brown, 3 point star for BC AND Scott Brown's daughter? I really liked her.

Holy crap, is that really Big Bens sister? Shes actually kind of hot. I really wish they told the weights of some of these girls. Ive always wanted to know how much a average girl that has the same height as me (6 2). I weight about 205 and im pretty skinny, so does that mean Kathleen Nash weighs in at 205 or so also?
