I read that Mora is sensitive to the desires of his family and his family likes Seattle. In this perspective he'll only take a job which is approved by his family.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

I don't want Jim Mora as a coach here. I don't like him, I don't think players would respond to him, and I don't have any indication at all that he would be a good 3-4 defensive coordinator. Maybe he turned down the Philly and Denver jobs because he knows he's a hack who's not fit for coaching. He lost credibility when he went on radio while he was still the Falcons head coach in the midst of a playoff run and said he'd accept the head coaching job at University of Washington in a heartbeat.

Looks like Philly may switch to a 34 Defense Also

Good, they should be even worse for at least one season.

Think he's basing it on their request to talk to Ravens LB coach for DC opening

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

So the Vikings have hired Bill Musgrave, who I've always respected, as their new offensive coordinator. But more significant is that they've brought in the Titans' QB coach. Vince Young to Minnesota?

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Uhhhh, I'm uh happy for Dave. He uh deserved to uh a head coach uh, even if it was uh an assistant head coach.

Kidding aside he's probably more qualified then he gets credit for (42-31 as head coach of the Dolphins with Jay Fiedler as his QB). Certainly more qualified as a head coach then Gailey

Good for him. He's no Belichick but he has been relatively successful everywhere that he has gone, except maybe as HC of the Bears. I wish him well.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

I'm amazed at all the coach's getting fired and getting picked up quickly by other teams. Especially Co-ordinator jobs. Maybe I shouldn't be but I am.

I understand HC Fox getting another chance, one could argue he took his teams to the playoffs and SB's. All was quiet with Al Saunders but rumors are he's heading to the Raiders or so I thought.

I guess I'm just supprised at all the retreads getting bounced around. Maybe getting hired under the right circumstances and right personell will make them look good again.

it's called the coaching carousel for a reason, nothing out of the ordinary really
