If that's correct it would appear that he's likely to be cut, based on salary alone. I think it would be sad if both he & mgmt. didn't work towards a contract that both could live with. He's not gonna make big $ elsewhere so he might as well try & stay. He changed his ways & could be a big contributor to the team as a 3rd down back & vet leader. Would seem sad for him to leave now & go elsewhere to do the same thing for less than what the skins would be willing to pay him, but that's probably more likely to happen.

The Skins offer to have you back as a part-time back at some kind of reduced salary.

Some other team - - for the sake of argument let's say the Patriots - - offer you 90% of what the Skins are willing to pay you and you will have the same part-time duties there - - - PLUS a much better shot at the playoffs and a Super Bowl appearance.
