Also there's a story brewing regarding trade talks with dez Bryant, from what I've heard Dallas will not even think about it BUT rumor is they will listen to offers
The Dez Bryant thing was purely a "What-if" scenario dreamed up by the Dallas media.

So..... Why would anyone bring it up in the first place?

It all seems to stem from remarks made by Patrick Crayton after someone asked him his thoughts on Garrett becoming head coach of his former team. Crayton was a little "disgruntled" with the Cowboys, because the drafting of Bryant meant that Crayton was the odd man out on the Cowboys roster at the time. And he was subsequently traded to the Chargers.

Crayton spoke about Bryant "getting away with a lot". Late to meetings and things of that nature. And he went on to say that since Garrett is a disciplinarian, he hopes that the new regime could turn that around for Bryant and he could be come the next Irvin. Thats all Crayton said.

Then an ESPN affiliate in Dallas took these comments and made a "what-if" scenario on-air posing the question of "If they could get a first rounder, would Dallas trade Bryant?".

It kinda went "viral" from there. But Stephen Jones was posed that question and he immediately shot it down.

Heres a link if interested, but it should put trade speculations to rest.

Cowboys Corner: Per vice president Stephen Jones, any reports of the Cowboys thinking about trading Dez Bryant are "totally wrong"
