I agree completely with SouperMeister. Carter was a good 4-3 DE, and he should have been traded at peak value last year, instead of being released. Poor judgement by Shanny to switch too early to a 3-4.

We've also undermined the trade value of McNabb and Haynesworth. Everyone knows we're trying to get rid of both.

I think that's being a bit hard on a coach who is trying to instill discipline and a new order, change the culture, etc. I think Shan deserves some criticism for how far he took some things w/AH & he admitted that he mishandled the detroit game benching afterwards. At some point though, a coach can't act like everything's cool w/a player just so that player looks good to teams that might be interested.
