The way I hear/see it-Gabbert and Newton are the first two QBs in the draft, both in the top 10 (neither to us). Ponder is moving up, possibly mid first (as much as I'd like him I find that stunning, but whatever), Mallet is a wild card. A lot of people think he'll be the 3rd overall QB taken simply because of his talent. The character issues most are putting aside, or so it seems right now.

That leaves Kaepernick, Dalton, and Locker as the next tier-possibly in that order. At least one of them will be available when we pick in the 2nd round.

And depending on what the Vikings and Niners do in the 1st round (and possibly free agency) re: their QB situation we could conceivably trade down as low as 50th overall with the Chargers and get our QB there and pick up a 3rd round pick

If I'm the redskins I'm doing whatever I can to get Robert Quinn at ten. If Quinns gone, I'm trading down, unless Julio Jones or AJ Green are still there.

I like that scenario Lotus and the only thing I would disagree with would be that I think once you start rooting for the Cowgirls treatment is probably a little late.....unless you're thinking Frontal Lobotomy?

Nice to hear from you 53. I like your idea. Mandatory lobotomies for all Dallas fans! Let's make it a law! It's the only humane thing to do.

I hope people want this guy as much as I do; he can be a beast OLB like Shaun Phillips of San Diego, he's just that good.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.

Sounds like the type of guy Vinny would jump on in the second round.
Quote:
According to SI.com draft analyst Tony Pauline, North Carolina WR Greg Little "won't be selected before the fourth round."
Little's offseason workout numbers have been fine, but he was reportedly "less than honest" in team interviews at the Combine after missing his entire senior season due to NCAA suspension. Other draft analysts have noted Little's seemingly lackadaisical on-field play and poor football character. Mar 18, 4:58 PM

Or Jerry Jones in the first round. He gets in hot water with the NCAA and then tells lies. Sound like a Dallas receiver?

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.

Does anyone know much about NT Marvin Austin other than his suspension last year. I heard NFLN talking about him possibly being a sleeper pick in the 2nd round & he might be better than Taylor from Baylor.

i think he's a 3 technique, not a nose. Also there are rumblings of him moving into the end of the first. I would love to take him with our second though. Move him to DE.
