I think it is a different world now, schools are getting a lot of pressure about bullies so the crackdown is there. I think in the past the bully may have got a slap on the hand but now a days the punishment is much worst because schools are afraid of the negative publicity they may receive from a bully's action.

That kid got ****ing owned and hopefully he learned a valuable lesson. I was teased and bullied a bit back when I was coming through elementary and high school, which is probably the reason I don't take any shit from anybody now. It's funny now, the people who were bullies back then would be scared shitless of me currently. It's amazing what growing to 6'2" and 300+ will do for you.


That said, I would want (and teach) my kid to come to me over any issue. I would then go to the principal and tell him either deal with it or I will. If that principal isn't willing to protect my child like he would do his, then me and him are going to have problems.
