HAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!! Good One ! You are right my good sir, while we may differ on our opinions when it comes to the Skins we agree on that. I work for the government as well ! I was mainly talking about the length of your posts. For that pic if I knew you then I'd tell you to meet me at the bar asap ! Too bad your in Carolina cause if you were near the Kennedy Center I'd say lets meet up for a round on me for that laugh !

Thanks for watching though ! Tune in next week !

You have me confused with some other hater. I'd rather be discussing the CBA or Redskins football, but it seems this toolbag has to keep his name in the media and mostly for all the wrong reasons.

I am cool, but I don't want people to get the impression that bashing the danny is some fun game I enjoy. You know what I enjoy? I loved this past season not hearing a god damn word about our owner. We only heard from Shanny, Bruce and players and quite frankly that's all I want to hear about. Want to know why the Skins are the laughing stock of the NFL? Well, it all starts at the top. This off season has been a PR nightmare with him relentlessly going after the media. Considering his image already, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie. If I'm ever in the DC area, I'll take you up on that drink.

That's how I look at it. As much as I defend him or tell people I don't care about all of that talk to me about football that's how I see it. He done some dickish things before so whatever happens doesn't shock me but when it is warrneted to be a big deal then make it one. I get frustrated when our local media takes each instance as one to bring up everything, and it kills me because he's the excuse for about everything that goes wrong. Carlos Rogers drops pick upon pick but we can find a way to trace all of that to Dan. Or Jason Campbell sucks as a QB ( That was my opinion while he was here ) is Dans fault. So many folks change history because once his name is spoken, everything else is forgotten because it has to be him.

But the I can't support the team because of him fan can kiss my ass. If you want to change your allegiance because of him go now, don't sit here and enjoy the highs no matter how few they are, but when the lows come you have an out. That's not fair to the guy like me that will sit there and say yup they lost, now the debate starts. When youre Anti Danny just to be, find something else to do or find a team that will make you happy.

And if you're ever up this way, no BS ! We can throw a few back and argue over this team that we love. Man, Dan should hire me as his PR I swear !

The Montreal Canadiens requested that Habs Inside/Out be renamed Hockey Inside/Out yesterday or something. H I/O now sports a new URL and the bloggers changed their email URL. So I guess this isn't unique to Danny.

(BTW, I'm a traitor)

Like I said prior, I'm not opposed to any professional team protecting their trademarks, but I also believe you have to take the whole picture into account.

This team needs all the good will and press that it can get, and I don't think pulling the Trademark card at the local paper (who you've been feuding with for a decade) is going to help you any. This franchise is at a crucial stage right now. Many fans can be won or lost in a matter of a few years. It's really up to Danny boy and how he plays it. Is he going to continue to be that arrogant asshole that doesn't listen to anybody and does exactly what he wants or is he going to be that guy that can shut the **** up, stay out of the football operations and let professionals run his team. For our sakes, I hope it's the latter.

Interesting enough the Habs decided to get their named pulled from their local paper at a time their fans were 11th on the list of worst fans in America. You'd think they'd need all the good press they can get.

The Habs have something like 28 beat writers (and no that is not a random number meant to serve as an exaggeration) so I imagine that this decision might have more to do with being fair to all the competing media outlets happy. Still even if my assumption is off the mark the fact remains that the story here with the Redskins is coming after this fiasco with the Examiner.

I'm just pointing out that it's not a unique occurrence.

Nah, I think more likely that it's because people have accused the organization and Jacques Martin of lying about Pacioretty's injury because of a couple articles, one of which was from a Gazette author. Habs fans wouldn't care about it because their owner hasn't alienated them at all, unlike here. Besides, Arpon Basu has a blog call the Daily Hab-it.
