Re: 2011 NFL Draft
There will be so much talent to pick from at #10, especially if Gabbert and Newton get picked before the tenth pick. A WR would be a waste. I would rather take OT Anthony Costanzo then a WR. That would solidify our OL for years to come.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
I know it's risky but you guys are acting like wr are a dime a dozen. I don't care what position it is .... Anyone of them can be a bust. So if AJ Green is there at 10 you would pass ?? Cmon man.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
WELL SEEING AS YOU CAN GET GOOD WR'S IN LOWER ROUNDS, THEY ARE A DIME A DOZEN IMO.. Look at Dallas with Miles Austin, Philly with D.J and NY with Steve Smith, just to name a few in our division.. WR's taken in the first round are more likely to fade away than to become stars.. Fitz, AJ80, Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss are exceptions to that rule but I'd rather go with OLB, DB, OL or QB at 10.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
You bet. Gotta feed the front. There will be difference-makers like Quinn left.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
While I agree with the sentiment of building with the lines I still don't think you pass up someone like Green who has that combination of skill, smarts, and work ethic. Quinn will be good but I like to look at it this way. In 5 years would you have a better chance of convincing a team to trade Quinn for Green or Green for Quinn. Personally I think Green will be the type of player where you wouldn't even be able to offer up Orakpo and get him in a straight up trade.

I'm with Okie on this one. Rather than taking Green, should he be there at #10, we should get a king's ransom from the Rams if they want Green. We can still feed the front at #14 and have an extra pick for a NT or QB.
