If you think that the world is out to stick it to Danny Boy because he is uber-rich, think again.
Read Dave Zirin's book: Zirin's idea that communities and cities should own the teams that play there is not gonna happen any time soon, but he does document some real sleaze when it comes to various owners of sports franchises. Yes, there is a chapter on Danny Boy but it is only one of a dozen chapters devoted to owners who are "not nice folks". Zirin is an "Equal Opportunity Basher". He has 32 pages at the end with footnoted references to source material for his "bashings". The book was published in 2010. You can easily read it over a weekend.
