Re: F... gas prices

You might be saving in gas but you spent $1200 in groceries in 30 days! I too use the gas points at Giant and the program works like this 1 point for every $1 spent. You need 100 points or $100 spent to save a .10 on a gallon of gas. You can use for one fill (one car) a max of 35 gallons and/or 2200 points. Points only last 30 days no roll over. You can check the rules here under FAQ: Gasoline*-* Giant So your above scenario seems off how you got 1200 points and filled two cars doing that. Either your confused or did the math wrong. I just don't know how you got 1200 points in 30 days which would also mean you are filling up somewhere else because you be eating into your points and/or you literally had a one time $1200 shopping trip and in that case gas is not the drain on your budget it is your food bill. Plus how you got the discount on two cars is a head scratcher too me. Honestly I use the programing but in no way do I think it is some super savings. I have too spend $100 (I realize not hard to do when you have a family) to save a .10 on a gallon gas which equates to me filling my 20 gallon tank and I save a whooping $2.
