It was great and very interesting, informative and entertaining.
Although you had to be disappointed in Locker being rated middle of second round on Parcells big board. He was not very impressed with these Qb this year either. He did say this draft is deep in DL and OLB pass rushers. He really like DE Ryan Kerrigan from Purdue. Said he was the safest draft pick in the draft. Guaranteed NFL player. Hmm?

It was a thing of beauty. Too bad the Skins will trade up for a risky QB and not take advantage of all of these 3-4 DE/LB types that they desperately need.

Good teams draft smartly and trading up is just plain foolish.

Yeah I agree. Parcells was shocked at how many good DL and OLB pass rusher there are in this draft and how they are normally so hard to find so they will all go early in the draft. That this is an unusually good and deep year for this group. It is good thing when team need meets quality and what is plentiful. That is a good thing. Our defense and offensive line are terrible. I would be really happy with a OLB/DE or OT and it is great that top ones will most likely still be there at 10. I really want Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert to be picked early and gone. That drops two other more really great players to us at #10.
Lets see if Shanahan and Allen are smart enough avoid the temptation to reach for a QB at 10 and take and make a quality pick.
Another interesting point Parcells made was Cal was one of only three college teams that play a true pro style 3-4 defense and they have Cam Jordan. I like that.
I have to see more about Kerrigan. I have not seen much on him.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft

Kerrigan had quite a few sacks and forced fumbles terrorizing Big Ten teams.

Check my location! :cheeky-sm

Also see Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State.

Also, those guys didn't get endorsed by Parcells.
