My Draft Day at FED/EX Field
I'm making this post as a reporter for my fellow Redskins fans that could not make it to today's Draft Day at the Stadium.
I planned to be there early and meet folks at 12:30PM EST but traffic SUCKED around here and I was an hour late. My beautiful wife Michele went with me and so we stopped in the Sale Tent where we got her a cute girly jersey thing and me three $4.95 hats for signing if ever needed and an official Draft Day hat for my son. [$66.00] They did have "worn" practice jerseys that I thought were cool but too pricey. Went to the inside store where I got a Training Camp hat and a smiley redskins guy for car antenna [$14.00] We went in and went straight on to the field where my wife just loved it. We agreed the stadium looks far smaller looking out then it does looking down and in. They had a line for kicking field goals and throwing passes and this year they had a line to see locker rooms. Chief Z was there so I got a picture of me and him and got him to sign one of my hats. He's an ICON if you have gone to games this last 30 years. Great guy and was working the crowd. We watched the us pick Carlos and then walked around, went out and ate as much bbq as we could and headed home. Not as fun as meeting all you guys last year but my wife was better to look at then JoeRedskin and JoeCrisp. lol http://www.boastingrights.com/mike/2005draftday/ That is about 12 pictures I took today for those who want to see what it was like. Enjoy Hail to the Redskins! mike

Thanks for sharing especially for us out of town (green with envy) fans.....
.......good thing you got out of there before the Campbell picked....the fans may have started pulling out the chairs and throwing them.....
