Yes. A.Froman!

Devlin will be very sought after I'm sure

Go with Beck/Grossman this year.

Re: Redskins 2011 Starting Quarterback: John Beck?

I posted before that I felt strongly that our starting QB for next season was not yet on the roster. I thought we'd probably draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd Round and re-sign Grossman to start in the near-term. Now, I read that Shanahan is serious about Beck as the starting QB. I still can't believe it! I don't think that I'll allow myself to believe it until Beck takes the first snap in the opening game.

I suppose it's possible that Donavan McNabb has re-dedicated himself and is preparing to have a great season (as he claims) and that, somehow, he and the Shanahans can be reconciled and that Donavan can be our starter next season.

Or, perhaps we'll be able to trade for Carson Palmer or Kyle Orton.

But to have John Beck as our starter at QB is definitely the worst case scenario. I would prefer to have a pissed off McNabb or the journeyman Grossman as our starter, if that's the best we can do.

Beck is an unknown. Hard to say if he's the worst case scenario until we actually see him play.

1) Denial is probably.......best
2) McBounce may be planning on a great season, but his recievers and other assorted teamates......not so much
3) I'd rather have Arnold Palmer
4) Could be worse......could be Glenn Beck

They'll never say it publicly, but Shanahan (and the organization) is going to tank the season. He can't be serious if all these reports are true about handing the job to John Beck. Either he's tanking or he thinks he's smarter than everyone. I think the organization is looking at the 2012 draft class for a QB. That's why they passed on all the QB's this year.

Ahhh, the ever popular secret conspiracy theory - and, of course, it's impossible to disprove b/c the more MS/BA deny it, the more they "prove" the conspiracy.

You're joking right???? Wow. I think Beck can be better then Jason Campbell. No one is tanking anything. I said this before and ill say it again......ANDREW LUCK IS NOT GOD!!!!!!!! He's a great college qb. You never know how he will pan out. I bet Sam Braford has a better NFL career then Luck. I'm 100% behind Beck. He is an unknown and could surprise.

THIS! Thank you!

I really hate all this loser talk of tanking. If you advocate losing, then you are a loser. There have been so many "can't miss" players who flopped in league history any fool thinking that we should or would lose games for the sake of a kid really needs to get a clue. Tell you what, if you want the 2011 team to lose, don't cheer for them in the fall when they do well or you'll be called out as a hypocrite.

As for Beck, who knows if he even takes a snap, hell Rex could beat him out, but how about we get to camp before we start plotting 2012 draft picks?

I'll be so glad when this lockout is over!
