re: Bin Laden Killed
Quote:
The code name for Bin Laden was “Geronimo.” The president and his advisers watched Leon E. Panetta, the C.I.A. director, on a video screen, narrating from his agency’s headquarters across the Potomac River what was happening in faraway Pakistan. “They’ve reached the target,” he said. Minutes passed. “We have a visual on Geronimo,” he said. A few minutes later: “Geronimo EKIA.” Enemy Killed In Action. There was silence in the Situation Room. Finally, the president spoke up. “We got him.”

Re: Bin Laden Killed
Its in the works. Set to be released October 12, 2012. Smart move by the President, the closer this comes out before the election the better for him. GOP Rep. Peter King Calls for Pentagon Probe Over Cooperation With Hollywood Movie About bin Laden Raid | TheBlaze.com

re: Bin Laden Killed
I like everyone else want to see the photo, but even more so I want to see the video of the raid, that to me would be even more telling. But after thinking about it since all this went down im pretty sure it would be a bad idea to release the photo or anything else within the next 5,10 maybe 20 years. Can anything positive come from releasing the photo, video of the raid, or video of the burial? Do you think Americans would be more safe or less safe if the photo is released, even if slightly? This is something the Obama administration has been thinking about for months now, while we’ve only had a couple days. They knew there was a high probability of bin laden living there since back in August of last year and pretty much knew he was there since February. They undoubtedly planned out how they would do his religious burial, and although im still pretty upset and if I were a Muslim I would be furious that they gave this nutbag a religious burial, I think it was probably the smartest thing to do to protect American’s safety.
What do you think. What positive will come from releasing a photo or anything else in the near future?
