Re: Undrafted Prospects
greg williams told gibbs NOT to draft DEs around the 6th round i think, so that it'd be easier to recruit them as undrafted free agents for tryouts, maybe they thought the same thing for TEs and OGs and decided to only work on two needs (FB/short yardage and ILB) and take multiple shots while leaving the door open for udfa's to come in and have a real shot...
not many OG's were drafted and blocking TEs really don't get drafted high at all, so hopefully we've set ourselves up alright (gibbs said they have between 30-50 udfa's coming in... 50!?!?) |

Re: Undrafted Prospects
holy crap I can't believe Jim Davis didn't get taken. if healthy he could be a steal to work into our d-lineman rotation.

Re: (Merged) Undrafted Prospects
just saw this
http://www.timesdispatch.com/servlet...=1031782358510 I know I was one of a few people hoping Davis would be among those invited and signing up to take part in the skins mini camp but I guess not. Hopefully the depth on the line in Jacksonville will maybe allow the skins to try and pick him up later this year. plus I think it's kind of funny that the guy trying to get get out of Michael Vick's shadow and end the comparisions between himself and vick(Bryan Randall) winds up signing up to try out with the Falcons. |
